PRE-TASK
Present the situation and the necessary vocabulary.
Students to study the grammar and functions presented (10 minutes).
In pairs students discuss the necessary information required in a Lost and Found Form (5 minutes).
They get the form to get familiar with the task and prepare questions and answers in readiness for oral exchange (5 minutes).
Students take it in turn to ask and answer the relevant questions (7
minutes).
TASK BASED EXERCISES
students complete the task in pairs and the teacher listens to the dialogues. Then the teacher helps to correct the completed tasks in oral
or written form.
Students are requested to fill in a form to register the lost of an item to choose from the items provided 1-4.
Students take it in turn to ask for the relevant information with the grammar structures presented in the class room (a-h) to fill the form below.

Students file the claim.
One of the pairs performs their dialogue in front of the class and once the task has been completed the students will hear the native speaking teachers repeat the same dialogue so they can compare it with their own.
In the assessment criteria the student will be able to fill in a questionnaire, to claim a lost object.
