Eurocall 2002 conference was held on 14-17 August in Jyväskylä, Finland.

The theme for this conference, Networked Language Learning - a link missing? drew attention to the fact that integrating ICT into current teaching practices is not just about technology, but a complex phenomenon evolving around many different and equally important issues. With the following list of sub-themes the organisers brought a rich and interesting variety of perspectives to the conference:

  • Curriculum development for CALL / WELL
  • Assessment, feedback and guidance in CALL / WELL
  • Pedagogical change in technology integration
  • Catering for Less Widely Used and Taught Languages in CALL / WELL
  • Research in new language learning environments
  • Innovative e-learning solutions for languages
  • Building national/international partnerships for networked language learning
  • New role of writing as a tool for communication
  • Networked language learning in adult education
