Canada Place which was the head quarters of EXPO 86 is a large complex of buildings with an interesting architecture. The building is dominated by five sails which gives the building the look of a ship.
The TESOL 2000 conference takes place in the Canada Place and in three nearby hotels. All that space is needed because more than 10.000 teachers are expected to attend the conference.
