Here comes a mixture of good links to English exercises, video, audio, texts - you name it. I hope to find the time for catagorizing all the links in the "near" future.

Please take a look at a website started in San Francisco a while back. http://www.ccsf.cc.ca.us/~tolerant/

Our site aims to be a resource for bringing themes of tolerance and acceptance into
classrooms. We hope to be positive, and invite thoughtful discussion. Not heavy and preachy or
gloomy.

We've got lessons, links, student writing, and are open to more ideas and materials. For
example, I hope someday we can have a discussion list for students to use as a part of the site.
It's an on-going thing, like most web publications.

Recent world events inspired an update for the site, and we've added a 9/11 link. We're
checking old links to see if they still connect to good stuff as well.

Be in touch if you wish to get involved. Feedback is most welcome.

Cheers,

Grammar sucks. Nobody likes the rules of English, especially not after they've been going by "ear" rules all of their lives.  (Anybody catch the errors in that last sentence?)  Plus, in a five-week, twenty-hour class such as I facilitate for the University of Phoenix, there's basically no way to cover enough detail and repeat it often enough to make it stick in everyone's already-resistant mind. That's why teaching English grammar is such a sucky job, at least in my (self-) esteemed opinion.

English Check Your Grammar. The on-line English grammar check which helps you prepare for the entrance examinations for English ... in construction but useful ! Javascript base works properly only with Netscape 4.0 and Internet Explorer 4.0!

Grammar Slammer: Looking for a specific rule to help you in your writing? Trying to decide between two similar words? A grammar checker helps you, but does not tell you why. Grammar checkers also miss many errors, especially those having to do with names, punctuation, sounds, and style.
Some of you may have a full grammar textbook stored on your disk somewhere, but it is a nuisance to access and use.
Grammar Slammer takes care of both problems in an easy-to-use format. Grammar Slammer contains the rules and tips you need to write your best and make yourself clear. Grammar Slammer uses the familiar Windows® Help file format to make it easy to find what you are looking for. It even has a an easy-to-use glossary to help with those grammatical terms you can't remember. It will truly Slam your Grammar Agony!

English Teaching and Travel Ressources. A Danish collection of links with comments. The site also has some shareware programs with descriptions.

I've used a site called Amazon Interactive with my students (not studying
tourism). It's at
www.eduweb.com . I think it's meant for school children.
Basically, you have to run your own ecotourism project in the Amazon. The
students I've taught have enjoyed it (and many of those are Chinese) so I
hope it's of use.

There's one interesting site at http://www.englishpractice.com

My students found that interesting. They are of intermediate and
upper intermediate level where English is a second language to
them.

There are many activities which they can do online.
